Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler were married on October 30, 2004 at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California.

The couple worked with Mindy Weiss to create an event inspired by their favorite movie, Tim Burton’s, “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

The 250 plus guests received invitations packaged in red satin dupioni boxes with an embroidered logo of the couple’s initials in a Gothic font. Each card was wrapped in black lace with a request for guests to dress in romantic attire. Invites were created by Lehr & Black.

The bride walked down the aisle in a long-sleeved Monique Lhuillier lace gown, with a black sash tied around her waist. She carried a small bouquet of crimson roses.

Moakler’s five-year-old daughter, Atiana De La Hoya, was one of six flower girls. Each wore white sleeveless dresses with black sashes, and wreaths made of yellow and red flowers.

The groom wore a black pinstripe suit. The couple’s one-year-old son, Landon Barker, wore a junior version of the same suit and had his hair styled in a mohawk.

The couple were married under an incense-scented floral arch, where they exchanged vows and red roses.

After the ceremony, their reception — a black and red wonderland based on the aforementioned movie — followed in the resort’s Spanish colonial ballroom. After spending their wedding night at Bacara, the newlyweds honeymooned at Le Taha’a Resort and Spa in Tahiti.
