We just got an invitation for “Sweet Saturdays at Soolip,” a great new promotion where you can taste wedding cake while browsing through invitations at Soolip Paperie & Press in West Hollywood. For LA-area brides, this is a great way to kill two birds with one stone. The event is being held every Saturday in April and May.

Soolip has created custom letter-press wedding invitations for celebrities like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. They use beautiful papers imported from around the world and offer calligraphy services as well.

Some of the bakeries who will be at the event are also celebrity favorites. Sweet Lady Jane, who created a red velvet wedding cake for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, will be sampling cakes, cookies and cupcakes. Our personal favorite, Vanilla Bake Shop, will also be in attendance.
