Country Singer Sara Evans Marries Jay Barker
Country singer Sara Evans married former Alabama quarterback Jay Barker at a farm in Franklin, Tennesee on June 14, 2008. According to People.com, the bride wore an ivory silk taffeta Vera Wang gown and was escorted down the aisle by her three children, Avery, Olivia and Audrey. Barker’s attendants were his four children, Andrew, Braxton, Sarah Ashlee and Harrison. The couple was married by the man who introduced them, Christian minister Jim Beam, who they both looked to for support after going through divorces last year. Evans told People, “It was a fairy tale wedding.”
