Ruben Studdard Weds in Alabama

Former “American Idol” Ruben Studdard married his girlfriend of two years Zurata Suri McCants on June 28, 2008 at the Canterbury United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Studdard wore a black Joseph Abboud tuxedo with a white vest and white bow tie. He had 20 groomsmen.
Mr. and Mrs. Studdard left the church in a cream-colored Cadillac Escalade en route to the reception, which was held at Rosewood Hall at SoHo Square. The couple met at a Walmart in 2006.
