Mark Zuckerberg married his long time love Priscilla Chan in a backyard ceremony at his Palo Alto, California home.

The wedding was a surprise to guests who thought they were celebrating Chan’s graduation from UCSF Medical School.

The couple walked down the aisle together with their Hungarian sheepdog, Beast.

Chan wore Claire Pettibone’s “Sky Between the Branches” wedding gown, an ivory laser-cut floral dress adorned with matte sequins lined in silk.

Zuckerberg designed a ruby ring for his bride, and they exchanged vows they had written for each other.

Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong, one of 100 guests at the nuptials, surprised the couple with a live performance of a love song with the lyrics, “Tell me when it’s time to say I love you.”

Following the vows, a reception took place under tall redwood trees and sparkling white lights.

Guests dined on food from the couple’s favorite local restaurants, Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi.

For dessert they nibbled on Burdick Chocolate “mice” (tiny chocolate truffles in the shape of mice), which the couple enjoyed on their first date.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Italy.
