Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton at Their Wedding

Miranda Lambert married Blake Shelton on May 14, 2011 at Don Strange Ranch.

The wedding was attended by 560 guests including Martina McBride, Katherine Heigl, Charles Kelley, Kellie Pickler, Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson. Lambert’s publicist, Kathy Best, planned the nuptials.

As bridesmaid Ashley Monroe sang Lambert’s song “Makin’ Plans,” the bride walked down the aisle on the arm of her father wearing her mother’s Gunne Sax 1979 wedding dress and custom Casadei cowboy boots.

Instead of a flower bouquet, she carried a four-pound brooch bouquet made of costume jewelry and wrapped with her mother’s vintage lace kerchief.

Her three dogs Cher, Delta and Delilah also made their way down the aisle wearing rhinestone encrusted collars.

The groom wore a vest and jacket by Ermenegildo Zegna with Wrangler jeans.

Bridesmaids wore custom dress by Mark Brower for Priscilla of Boston and Old Gringo boots, a gift from Lambert.

The ceremony took place in a candlelit barn decorated with rustic glass, lamps, twigs, flowers and honeysuckle. The couple recited vows while standing on a cowhide rug beneath an arch made of antlers. Lambert’s pastor Brian Childress officiated.

They exchanged wedding bands by Johnathan Arndt (Shelton’s band has one of his tattoo’s engraved on it and Lambert’s is two diamond eternity bands made of 5-carats each).

At the conclusion of the vows, they walked back up the aisle to “Happy Trails” and hopped into Lambert’s red ’55 Chevy truck to head to the reception. They were met by the bridal party who took hay rides to the party.

The color scheme for the eclectic affair was pink, ivory and brown. A tent was decked out with hunting and fishing gear, tin cans, rocking chairs and neon signs. Antler chandeliers were draped with crystals and round wood tables were covered with linens made of lace and sequins.

A barbecue buffet was set up outside along with a Tex Mex menu which included herb-encrusted quail, corn pudding and venison quesadillas made with deer hunted by the couple. Signature drinks were the Ranch’s famous Prickly Pear Margaritas.

Lambert changed into a strapless silk shantung Priscilla of Boston party dress for the reception and hit the dance floor to tunes performed by Neal McCoy. The newlyweds first dance as husband and wife was McCoy’s song “No Doubt About It.”

As the evening went on, Martina McBride and Reba McEntire performed and later in the evening, guests such as Kellie Pickler sang karaoke.

For dessert, a five-tier wedding cake by Jay Qualls was served which was designed to look like worn leather. The baker also made mini cakes served in shot glasses.

As favors, guests left with Flipbooks, beer cozies and mason jars with battery operated fireflies inside.

The couple honeymooned at their Tishomingo, Oklahoma ranch followed by several days at Reba McEntire’s vacation home in Cancun.
