Melissa Rycroft From ‘The Bachelor’ Is Engaged

Former “Dancing with the Stars” and “Bachelor” contestant Melissa Rycroft is engaged to Tye Strickland. The couple have been dating off and on for two years.
Strickland proposed at White’s Chapel in Southlake, Texas on June 26. Afterwards they were joined by their parents at Brio Tuscan Grille for a celebration.
Rycroft confirmed the news on Twitter, saying, “Guess the secret’s out…Thank you all so much for being so great and supportive!! We’re soooo excited!”
Melissa was the original winner on “The Bachelor” when Jason Mesnick proposed to her with a three-carat marquise diamond engagement ring by Neil Lane. He later changed his mind and ended their engagement on national TV.
