Matthew McConaughey is engaged to his girlfriend of five years, Camila Alves.
“Just asked Camila to marry me, #MerryChristmas,” the actor posted to his Twitter page along a pictures of the happy couple kissing.
Alves and McConaughey met at a bar in 2006. They have two children together.
He spoke to Esquire earlier this year about his desire to settle down.
“I found the woman… I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together,” he said.
The couple have not announced a wedding date.
