Mardy Fish and Stacey Gardner Wedding

Beverly Hills, California

September 28, 2008

Tennis player Mardy Fish married “Deal or No Deal” model Stacey Gardner at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills on September 28, 2008.

The 6 p.m. ceremony was held in the garden and was planned by Linda Howard’s Sensational Celebrations. Stacey walked down a red rose petal-covered aisle as a live band played David Gray’s ballad, “This Year’s Love.”

The couple exchanged vows under a chuppah constructed of white roses by florist Mark’s Garden. Stacey wore a stapless mermaid-style dress, while her bridesmaids wore black. Mardy’s groomsmen included tennis players James Blake and his brother Thomas Blake. His close friend Andy Roddick was also invited but won the China Open in Beijing and didn’t make it back in time.

The black and white-themed wedding was accompanied by crystal chandeliers strung from trees and cascading crystals hung from posts lining the aisle. As the ceremony ended, guests including basketball player Kevin Garnett waved sparklers in the air as the band played U2′s “Beautiful Day.”

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the hotel ballroom for dinner and dancing.
