Lucinda Williams Marries Her Manager On Stage

Singer Lucinda Williams married her manager Tom Overby on Friday at her concert in Minneapolis.
According to the Star Tribune, the wedding took place on stage at First Avenue in front of 1,500 fans. The couple said their vows after Williams played her first set.
“I thought I’d wear something besides jeans tonight,” the singer joked to the crowd after taking the stage in a black skirt, blouse and knee high boots.
After the wedding, the newlyweds were showered by confetti shooters, and the band played Keith Richards’ “Happy.”
Williams chose to get married on stage like her hero Hank Williams who married his second wife during a performance.
