LeBron James is engaged to his high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson.

According to UsMagazine.com, James proposed at a New Year’s Eve dinner at the Sherbourne Hotel in Miami with a pear-shaped diamond engagement ring.

The couple’s two children, LeBron Jr. and Bryce, were there to witness the proposal. Also at the party were Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, Lance Bass and Jamie Lynn Sigler.

“I feel like everything is happening because it’s supposed to,” Brinson told Harper’s Bazaar of her relationship with James. “It was all in the stars.”
