Kelsey Grammer married Kayte Walsh on stage at the Longacre Theatre in New York City on February 25, 2011.

The traditional ceremony was officiated by Grammer’s co-star in “La Cage aux Folles” Terry Lavell.

Poems were read during the vows that the bride and groom had written for one another, and Grammer’s brother Stuart sang the Randy Newman classic “Feels Like Home.”

Walsh wore a white silk sheath gown with beaded straps and bodice by Peter Langer for Mark Ingram.

Following the ceremony, a reception planned by Ed Libby Events was held at The Plaza Hotel.

The Grand Ballroom was decorated with gold lounge furniture, hundreds of candles and floral arrangements of blush pink and white roses with pink hydrangeas.

The dinner menu included king oyster mushroom carpaccio, wild mushroom risotto, grilled filet mignon with blue potato gratin and bittersweet chocolate tart.

For dessert, a 55-inch-tall carrot cake by Sylvia Weinstock was served along with mini ice cream cones and smoothies.

The couple honeymooned with a road trip across America.
