5 Things to Know About Kim Kardashian’s Wedding

Kim Kardashian will tie the knot with Kris Humphries this weekend in what is sure to be the biggest celebrity wedding of the summer. Over the past few weeks we’ve seen the reality star registering for gifts, tasting wedding cakes and working out like crazy to get in tip top shape for her big day. So what else can we expect from the star-studded Hollywood nuptials? We break it down for you and give a preview of everything you need to know.
The Wedding Dress: Kardashian has confirmed that Vera Wang is designing the gown because “no one designs gowns the way she does!” St. Pucchi designer Rani Totman predicts Kim will wear a mermaid-style dress to accentuate her curvaceous figure with a long train and embellishments on the bodice.
The Invitations: The black and white cards, by Lehr and Black, were sent to guests such as Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Nicole Richie and Will Smith in a silver box. All in attendance are required to wear black and white to the affair.
The Setting: The vows will take place at a $29 million private estate in Montecito, California where Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were once set to marry in 2003. The seaside town was home to the weddings of a slew of celebrities including Hilary Duff, Avril Lavigne, Tiffani Thiessen, Mariska Hargitay, Gwyneth Paltrow.
The Bridal Party: Big sis Kourtney Kardashian revealed that the bridesmaid dresses are green on her Twitter page. Other than the Kardashian sisters, the bridal party will also likely include Kim’s pals Lala Vasquez and Brittny Gastineau. Maybachs and Rolls Royce Phantoms will be shuttling the wedding party from the nearby Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel to the wedding venue.
The Rings: What kind of wedding band will Kim wear with her 20.5-carat engagement ring. Jewelry expert Michael O’Connor predicts she will choose a plain polished platinum band in a narrow width, or a platinum eternity band set with diamonds.

ADD A COMMENTI read that Kourtney just said the bridesmaids dresses are green, but they arent. A source said that its “100% not true. Kim wants to keep the whole wedding with the theme of the invitation”. I assume that means black or white.

According to People, in an interview this morning 8/19, Kim K told Ryan Seacrest that her sisters were tweeting out incorrect information. I believe Kim K over tweets… especially when she is talking to the guy who is effectively her boss!
