Kara DioGuardi: Wedding Less Than Two Weeks Away

Kara DioGuardi was a guest host on “Live with Regis and Kelly” this morning and the “American Idol” judge announced her wedding is less than two weeks away.
DioGuardi will marry Mike McCuddy, a general contractor who built the house next to hers in Maine. The location of the wedding was not disclosed.
On the show, DioGuardi talked abut her unconventional first meeting with her fiance, which took place when she went to complain the house he was building was too close to hers. She said she found him “kind of hot.” She also told a story about a burnt piece of wood taken from a bonfire on one of their first dates. McCuddy kept the ember and framed it.
Kara and Mike got engaged in December on a trip to Mexico.
