“Survivor: Cook Islands” contestant Candice Woodcock married Dr. John Cody on May 1, 2010.

The intimate ceremony took place at Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, Maryland in front of 85 guests.

The bride wore a silk taffeta wedding dress by Jenny Lee with a ruched bodice and delicate French lace underlay.

She clutched a bouquet of hydrangeas, peonies and greenery and walked down the aisle to the sounds of Dr. Susan Mulroney and members. (Mulroney was the Dean of her Master’s program and the groom’s former med school professor.)

The bridesmaids wore strapless steel blue dresses by Amsale, purchased at Hitched Salon in Georgetown.

The groom, along with several of his groomsmen, wore mess dress uniforms from their days in the Army.

The couple recited traditional vows in a non-denominational ceremony. At the conclusion, they walked through a saber arch and shared a kiss as they were saluted.

Following the vows, a reception was held inside the candlelit mansion.

Tall centerpieces on each table included ivory hydrangeas, willow and an assortment of greenery.

The couple shared their first dance to “Crazy Love” by Van Morrison followed by the father-daughter dance to “Carolina in my Mind” by James Taylor and the mother-son dance to “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac.

Black Tie DJ’s got the party started with classic songs as guests hit the dance floor.

For dessert, a three-tiered hand painted white wedding cake by Fluffy Thoughts Cakes was served which the couple cut into with a saber.

As favors, guests left with chocolate dipped pretzel rods handmade by maid of honor, Becca Jane Ayers.

The newlyweds honeymooned in St. Lucia.
