Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were married on July 29, 2000 in Malibu, California. The 6:30 p.m. ceremony took place at the estate of producer Marcy Carsey, on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Two hundred guests attended, including Cameron Diaz, Courteney Cox, Salma Hayek and Edward Norton. Prior to the ceremony, iced tea and punch were served while a string quartet played classical music.
As the sun began to set, a 40-piece gospel choir sang Al Bowley’s “Love Is the Greatest Thing” as the bride walked down the aisle on the arm of her father. Aniston wore a glass-beaded silk and satin Lawrence Steele wedding gown with ivory suede Manolo Blahnik heels, and carried a bouquet of Dutch Vendela roses. She wore a circular veil draped from a Swarovski crystal crown, with her Chris McMillan-styled hair in loose waves.
The groom wore a black tuxedo by Hedi Slimane. His brother and best man, Doug Pitt, wore Prada. The bridesmaids, Andrea Bendewald and Kristin Hahn-Stringer, wore pale green slip dresses by Lawrence Steele.
The couple exchanged personal vows, in which Brad vowed to split the difference on the thermostat, and Jennifer promised to always make his favorite banana milkshake.
Following the ceremony, the party moved to the lawn to listen to Latin jazz band Gypsy Magic. Appetizers of shrimp and mini pizzas were served, while guests toasted with Dom Perignon. The affair, rumored to have cost $1 million, was planned by Along Came Mary.
Pitt decorated the grounds of the estate to look like a zen garden. Lanterns lined the walkways, and floating lotus flowers were placed in a slate pond. Inside the tent, floral centerpieces by LA Premier were placed on each table and included roses, wisteria and tulips. Candles, imported Thailand and made from brown sugar, illuminated the room. The dinner menu included lobster, peppercorn beef, risotto and pasta. Dessert was a six-tier white frosted wedding cake courtesy of Rosebud Cakes.
Just after 10 p.m., guests turned to the sky for a 13-minute fireworks display created by Pyro Spectaculars and set to the music of Radiohead, Garbage and Jeff Buckley. Other live performances included Melissa Etheridge, who sang Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love,” and Dakota Horvath, a 12-year-old singer who sang “The Way You Look Tonight.”
The following day, the couple departed for their honeymoon at Fregate Island in the Seychelles.

Jen is so a reserve type of person which i find it interesting to her. She`s the sexiest of all in hollywood people, she`s gifted with her beauty & body. It was good she`s separated with Bradd, she deserve better! To Jen, keep up the good work & God bless you more!

I can’t wait for Brad and Angelina’s wedding!! Angelina is such natural beauty inside and outside! I just think that Brad and Jennifer were not meant to be, they are very different.

@Nera, totaly true. Jen and Brad wasnt meant to be, shes focused on herself and hes not! He doesnt want to be the pretty boy and be judged by his looks just like angie and we all know that jen is totaly focused on her looks. She seems very superficial to me even thoug her pr team trys to make her look like the girl next door or american sweetheart, i think this is just a image. To me, she has no class. Sandra Bullock did not even one interview after been cheated on the wors way a women could be cheated on but she said nothing. Jennifer couldnt wait to take every talkshow in the us and every paper to give them a interview how sad she is and was begging to feel pitty for her even though everybody said the marriage was broken long before he ever met another woman! look where she is today and see where he is today, it was the best for both to leave! She loves money and he loves children. Thats it!

Seriously…why do people feel pity for this woman….she is self absorbed and no amount of pr can change that….not even Oprah. How low can one go…I guess using friends talkshows to garner more sympathy is the way to go. Look at her track record…how many guys has she been with since Brad ??? Can we say serial bed hopper…who’s the cheap one now….You know the whole people in glass houses . .. yeah…well she should be the last one casting any stones. I dont condone infedilety on any level…but really she needs to get over it and mooooooove on.

Jennifer is so beautiful, she looks gorgeous in that photo. as they look so cute together she definatley deserved someone much better. You go girl!

Seriously, Angelina is very breathtakingly beautiful inside out. Juz like everyone, I cant wait to see her wedding with smashing handsome Brad Pitt. Jennifer is a girl-next-door type…I am pretty sure she will find her match soon.
