Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott is engaged to her drummer boyfriend Chris Tyrell.

According to People.com, Tyrell proposed over the 4th of July weekend while the couple were enjoying a day at the lake in East Tennessee.

After a hike at sunset, Tyrell got down on one knee and popped the question while still in workout clothes.

The couple met in 2010 while performing as opening acts on Tim McGraw’s tour.

Lady Antebellum’s current hit “Just a Kiss” was inspired by their relationship.
