Giuliana DePandi and Bill Rancic Wedding
Capri, Italy
September 1, 2007
Guiliana DePandi married “Apprentice” winner Bill Rancic on September 1, 2007 at the Church of Santa Sofia in Capri, Italy. The bride walked down the aisle in a strapless two-piece Monique Lhiullier gown carrying a bouquet of white flowers. The groom wore a black tuxedo, tailored by the bride’s father, Eduardo DePandi, and white tie. The Catholic ceremony was conducted in Italian, Latin and English and included a performance of “Ave Maria” by the bride’s brother.
Following the ceremony, buses took 200 guests to the center piazza, where Neopolitan dancers sang and danced as guests walked to the reception at Grand Hotel Quisisana. The couple arrived in a red convertible Fiat as onlookers waved and cheered.
Once inside, they enjoyed a dinner of Southern Italian fare like prosciutto and pasta, and vanilla and cream wedding cake decorated with red rose petals flown in from Holland.
