Jennifer Garner plays the part of an ethereal bride in new movie “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.” In the film, Matthew McConaughey is a womanizer haunted by his romantic past. While at his younger brother’s wedding, he runs into his ex-girlfriend (played by Jennifer Garner) and realizes she is the girl he should have married.
Jennifer’s wedding dress is by Manuel Mota for Pronovias. The strapless lace gown is detailed with crystal beading and has a silk bow at the waistline.
The wedding scene was filmed at Martha-Mary Chapel at Longfellow’s Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts. The chapel is located on a knoll surrounded by white pines and was built in 1938.
Jennifer’s real life wedding to Ben Affleck was quite different. She wore a Vera Wang wedding dress when the couple were married in a secret ceremony on the beach in Turks and Caicos.
