Actress Essence Atkins Gets Married

“Half and Half” star Essence Atkins married Jaime Mendez on September 26.
The couple, who met on Match.com earlier this year, were married in an outdoor ceremony at Ambassador Mansion and Gardens in Pasadena.
The bride wore a strapless Stephen Yearick gown with Jimmy Choo shoes. She carried a bouquet of ivory, green and violet roses.
As favors, guests received match books, and single guests were given six-month memberships to Match.com.
