‘The Bachelorette’ Emily Maynard Engaged

“The Bachelorette” Emily Maynard is engaged to Jef Holm following a romantic proposal in Curacao.

Holm dropped to one knee and proposed with a Neil Lane engagement ring during the show’s finale Sunday night.

“I want you to know that what I’m about to ask you aren’t just empty words that in a few weeks or a few months or a few years, or even a few decades will be lost,” Jef said. “What I’m about to ask you is a forever thing.”

After asking for her hand in marriage, Emily paused before accepting with a big smile on her face.

The couple kissed and told each other “I love you,” before Maynard’s daughter Ricki joined them to celebrate.

Following the show, Holm revealed he will be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina where Emily lives, and that they would like a spring wedding.

“Obviously, I’m a girl to a fault. I’ve been looking up dresses online and buying every wedding magazine in the grocery store,” Emily said. “We’re just kind of taking it day by day.”
