Debra Messing and Daniel Zelman were married at a private estate in Santa Barbara on September 3, 2000. The bride wore a strapless Vera Wang gown and held a bouquet of calla lilies. The groom wore a black Hugo Boss suit and black tie. He presented his bride with a 100-year-old sapphire ring as a wedding gift.

The couple said their vows on a bluff overlooking the ocean. The 150 guests included Camryn Manheim and Messing’s “Will and Grace” co-stars Megan Mullaly and Sean Hayes.

At the reception, Mullaly and Hayes broke into an impromptu version of the Britney Spears song “Oops I Did It Again,” garnering laughs from the crowd.

The couple spent their wedding night at Bacara Resort & Spa.
