‘Wonder Years’ Star Danica McKellar Is Engaged

Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper on “The Wonder Years,” is getting married. The actress is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Mike Verta.

According to our sources, Mike proposed to Danica over the summer in Chicago, where she had just finished a book tour. He presented her with a diamond engagement ring on their way to a surprise dinner. The couple have been dating for nearly eight years.

Danica’s sister, Crystal McKellar, will be maid of honor at the upcoming wedding. Crystal played Becky Slater on “The Wonder Years.”
