Christina Hendricks, who plays flame haired secretary Joan on “Mad Men,” is the cover bride for InStyle Weddings fall issue.

Hendricks, who will tie the knot with Geoffrey Arend in October, talks about plans for her upcoming nuptials which will take place at the couple’s favorite restaurant in New York.

“There will be about 70 people,” Hendricks says. “The room is small and romantic and rustic and intimate, like it’s someone’s home in Italy.”

The actress will be wearing a Carolina Herrera wedding dress, the first dress she tried on. 

“It’s a strapless gown in a color called candlelight,” she explains. “It’s got a bit of Sophia Loren to it, but really, it’s a Christina Hendricks dress.”
