Tomorrow at 6 p.m., Chelsea Clinton will tie the knot with Marc Mezvinsky at Astor Courts in Rhinebeck, New York.
Being billed by some as the “wedding of the century,” roads have been shut down and a no-fly zone has been issued. The quaint town of Rhinebeck is reportedly ready for the hotly anticipated event and the attention it is bringing.
Here is everything you need to know about the nuptials:
Location: The ceremony will take place inside an air conditioned tent on the Astor Courts property overlooking the Hudson River.
Guest List: President Obama wasn’t invited to the wedding but that doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of star power. Barbara Streisand and Steven Spielberg are among the 400 guests who are expected.
The Dress: The bride will walk down the aisle in Vera Wang and was spotted making a last minute trip to Wang’s New York shop earlier this week.
The Wedding Planner: Bryan Rafanelli or Rafanelli Events is in charge of the weekend’s festivities. The Boston based event planning extraordinaire has planned parties in the past for President Obama’s inauguration and the wedding of Red Sox owner John Henry.
Wedding Costs: With $600,000 being spent on tents and $15,000 on portable bathrooms, the latest figures have estimated the wedding could cost up to $5 million. Read our breakdown of some of the pricier items here.
