Charlie Shanian married Tori Spelling on July 3, 2004 at her parents 56,000-square foot mansion in Los Angeles. A total of 350 guests attended the black-tie event, including Spelling’s “90210″ costars Jennie Garth, Jason Priestly and Ian Ziering, as well as Hollywood legends Ed McMahon, Bob Newhart and Paul Anka.

The couple worked with wedding planner Mindy Weiss to create a 1920s-inspired wedding peppered with elements of “The Great Gatsby” and Old Hollywood. The event was rumored to have cost $1 million.

As the ceremony began, “Through the Eyes of Love” played as Tori’s seven bridesmaids walked down the aisle in pink spaghetti strap dresses by Thread. They held bouquets of roses, peonies, gardenias and hydrangeas. The couple’s two pugs served as flower girl and ring bearer, and wore a mini bridesmaid dress and tuxedo. The bride entered on the arm of her father, Aaron Spelling, wearing a crystal beaded Badgley Mischka gown and Neil Lane jewels inspired by ’20s flapper fashions. She held a bouquet of peonies and lilies of the valley.

The couple exchanged self-written vows that incorporated Judaism and Christianity, representing their two faiths. They were married under a gazebo covered in roses and hydrangeas by florist Mark’s Garden. After being pronounced husband and wife, they walked up the aisle to “I Got You Babe,” as guests tossed rose petals.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a poolside cocktail reception before moving into an outdoor tent for dinner. Wolfgang Puck catered the meal, which included beet and goat cheese napoleons and herb-crusted lamb. Dessert was a five-tier Victorian era wedding cake by Perfect Endings. It featured scrolls, drapes and sugar roses.

At the end of the evening, guests were treated to warm chocolate chip cookies and shots of milk.
