“Grey’s Anatomy” fans anxiously awaited Meredith and Derek’s wedding, but in the end it was Alex and Izzie who tied the knot on the 100th episode. Izzie wore Meredith’s Kenneth Pool wedding dress and Meredith wore the Amsale bridesmaid dresses that Izzie had picked out.

Derek Shepherd and Meredith Grey are finally engaged. On Thursday’s “Grey’s Anatomy” Derek lines the elevator with CT scans and charts of all the patients he and Meredith have saved together. He takes her back through the milestones in their relationship and tells her he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

According to “Grey’s Anatomy” actor Kevin McKidd, Derek will finally propose to Meredith on Thursday night’s show. The episode, titled “Elevator Love Story” has fans believing Derek will get down on one knee in the elevator at Seattle Grace Hospital.
