Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher Engaged

Carrie Underwood is engaged to hockey player Mike Fisher.
Fisher proposed at his Ottawa home on Sunday afternoon after he asked Underwood’s father for permission.
“We’re both very excited,” he said. “These are exciting times. We’d been talking about this and we’re both really happy.”
Underwood flashed her engagement ring at the Senators game on Monday night. A spokesperson from the Diamond Information Center tells People.com the brilliant round diamond is around five-plus carats, with an estimated value of close to $150,000.
The couple haven’t set a date but would like to get married next summer.
