Basketball star Carmelo Anthony will tie the knot with LaLa Vasquez this summer after being engaged for five years.

Vasquez announced the news on the “Wendy Williams Show” on Wednesday.

“I’m getting married this summer and I wanted to come here and tell everybody that,” the MTV VJ said.

The nuptials will be coordinated by celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss and will take place in New York where Vasquez is from.

Expected on the guest list and perhaps in the bridal party are Kim Kardashian and Solange Knowles who are close friends of Vasquez.

“I haven’t decided,” Vasquez said when asked if her famous friends will be bridesmaids. “They will be in it in some capacity.”

There will be, “probably 250-300 people,” she says of the grand affair. “Everybody’s been waiting for it for so long, we may as well invite everybody to come hang out.”
