Exclusive: ‘Survivor’ Candice Woodcock Gets Married

Candice Woodcock, who postponed her wedding 10 months so she could compete on “Survivor: Heroes vs Villains,” tied the knot with Dr. John Cody on May 1, 2010 in Frederick, Maryland. The outdoor ceremony took place at Ceresville Mansion in front of 85 guests.
“It was perfect!” Candice tells Celebrity Bride Guide. “Romantic, intimate, and exactly what we wanted.”
The reception was held inside the mansion and decorated with hundreds of candles, hydrangeas, willow and greenery. Before the night was over, the couple sliced into a hand-painted wedding cake with a saber, a nod to the groom’s days in the Army.
“I was so grateful to John for supporting me and allowing us to push the wedding back so that I could compete, Candice says. “I wanted him to know that my only focus on our wedding day was him.”
