NASCAR driver Burney Lamar married Niki Taylor on December 27, 2006 at The Grande Colonial Hotel in La Jolla, California.

The sixty guests in attendance included Taylor’s twin sons Hunter and Jake Martinez, and her sister and matron of honor Joelle Bolline. The groom’s father, Izzy Lamar, served as best man.

The bride wore an ivory Vera Wang gown for the ceremony, which was officiated by her hometown pastor from Brentwood, Tennessee.

A reception followed. The couple shared their first dance to “Better Together” by Jack Johnson.

Guests dined on a five-course lunch that included squash soup, pear and apple organic greens, potato gnocchi with wild mushrooms, and steak and lobster.

For dessert, La Jolla baker Michelle Coulon created a four-layer chocolate mousse cake.

As favors, guests were given a tote bag of Kanebo beauty products, Godiva truffles and pearl stationery from The Dotted Line in Nashville, Tennessee.
