Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen Wedding
Beverly Hills, California
May 30, 2008
Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen were married in front of 68 guests at a private estate on May 30th, 2008. The wedding, which was planned and designed by Yifat Oren, had a nature theme throughout. The ceremony was held under a canopy on a small mound of moss, accompanied by 10,000 flowers and 500 candles.
Wedding guests included Charlie’s father, Martin Sheen, brother, Emilio Estevez, his TV mother, Holland Taylor, actors Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart, and Charlie’s three daughters Cassandra Sheen, Sam Sheen and Lola Sheen.
The bride walked down the aisle in an ivory Reem Acra gown, with a headdress made of twigs and woven wildflowers. Her jewelry was by Nicole Khristine.
The groom wore a Pronto Uomo suit from Men’s Wearhouse.
The couple exchanged self-written vows and were married by Charlie’s friend and stunt double, Eddie Braun.
At the evening reception, guests were seated at dark wood tables with centerpieces of pears, oranges and chocolate candles. Each place setting had a menu adorned with a twig, the guest’s name and picture of a bird.
Dinner was catered by Foodink and was followed by a four-tier wedding cake with faux birds.
Live music by a 14-piece rock band and Rumba group, Espino, kept guests on the dance floor all night. Before the party was over, the bride’s friend, “Dreamgirls” star Sharon Leal, serenaded the newlyweds with “Let It Be.”
The couple honeymooned at the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo, the same place they got engaged.
