‘The Bachelor:’ Ben and Courtney Recite Wedding Vows

Bachelor Ben and Courtney recite wedding vows

ABC

On Monday night’s episode of “The Bachelor,” Courtney Robertson took Ben Flajnik to her dream hometown wedding location, The Farm at South Mountain, and staged a faux wedding ceremony.

After presenting Ben with a bow tie and a note pad, the couple sat down and wrote vows for one another which they then recited in a simple ceremony.

Courtney’s vows came directly from a scene in “Sex and the City” where Carrie Bradshaw breaks up with Alexander.

“I’m looking for love. Real, passionate, can’t-live-without-each-other-love,” Courtney reads from a piece of paper. “When I look at you from across the room, I know that the key to your happiness is the key to mine. Ben, I want to love you and treat you right. Every day and every night,” Robertson told him during their “rustic” outdoor ceremony, complete with a stand-in officiant. “I hope you know I’m 100% ready for marriage and so happy I found you. I want you to know that I’m in love with you.”

The couple later exchanged rings and Courtney told Ben she was in love with him.

The rustic Farm at South Mountain is known for its pecan tree grove which provides canopies of shade, outdoor dining, and acres of green grass.
