Ben Roethlisberger married Ashley Harlan on July 23, 2011. The wedding took place at Christ Church at Grove Farm near Pittsburgh.

Roethlisberger’s friend, Jaime Cooper, served as best man. The 20-member bridal party included Steelers players Willie Colon and Brett Keisel along with Roethlisberger’s agent, Ryan Tollner.

Harlan wore a strapless ivory silk wedding dress by Monique Lhuillier. Her bridesmaids wore gray Jim Hjelm gowns and carried bouquets of blush pink roses.

A reception followed the nuptials at the David L. Lawrence conference center. Planned by Sheila Weiner of the Event Group, the party took place on the third floor in the Spirit of Pittsburgh ballroom.

Hepatica Florist used nearly 10,000 roses to decorate the room in shades of pink. A wall of roses was also used as a backdrop for a photo booth.

The couple shared their first dance to “God Gave Me You” performed live by the original artist, Dave Barnes.

Dinner for the 650 guests was catered by The Common Plea Restaurant and included a choice of roasted beef tenderloin with cabernet demi-glace or pan-seared halibut with grilled lemons. For dessert, a six-tiered wedding cake by Vanilla Pastry Studio was served.
