Ali Larter married Hayes MacArthur at his family home in Kennebunkport, Maine on August 1, 2009.

Guests arrived at the black tie wedding via trolley. As they entered the estate, a bagpiper played in honor of the groom’s heritage.

Ali walked down the aisle on the arm of her father just after 5 p.m. She wore a Vera Wang Chantilly lace wedding dress with an a-line skirt and thin spaghetti straps. Her hair was pulled back in a loose chignon and a mantilla trimmed with lace covered her face.

She carried a bouquet of pale pink roses tied with a white satin ribbon. A flautist and guitar played “The Wedding March” as she made her way across a sprawling lawn to the front of the altar.

The couple exchanged vows in a twenty minute ceremony before being pronounced husband and wife.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds joined guests including Amy Smart and Joshua Jackson for cocktails in the garden. Ali let her hair down as she posed for pictures with friends.

As the sun was setting, the bride and groom were introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Hayes MacArthur.
