Laser cut skirts and mermaid silhouettes were popular in 2010. Celebs looked to their favorite designers Vera Wang and Monique Lhuillier to create custom-made wedding dresses for their big days.

Chelsea Clinton wore an ivory strapless Vera Wang wedding dress featuring a draped bodice and a raw edged laser-cut skirt for her wedding to Marc Mezvinsky. Alexa Vega married Sean Covel in an Ian Stewart wedding gown with a corset bodice and bustled skirt. Coco Rocha walked down the aisle in a custom mermaid-style Zac Posen gown with a tulle flared skirt. Hilary Duff wore a silk tulle and organza mermaid gown by Vera Wang adorned with giant blossoms for her Montecito wedding to Mike Comrie. Molly Malaney was married to Jason Mesnick in a strapless mermaid-style Monique Lhuillier wedding dress with a deep-plunging back and soft rosette ruffle skirt. Odette Yustman wore a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown with a ruffle pleated skirt for her Ojai nuptials to Dave Annable.
